  • Nominations will also be accepted from the virtual floor on the night of the election. 

  • The only qualification to run for office is that you are a parent/guardian of a child currently attending our school. However, per the Chancellor's Regulations, DOE employees are not allowed to run, even if they have a child in the school.

  • All elected PA Executive Board members serve a one-year term.

  • SLT parent representatives serve a two-year term.

Jonathan Shapiro has been helping students write for more than 20 years. His tutees have been accepted to the most select schools, including Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, MIT, NYU, Cornell, and many, many more.

Currently, Jonathan teaches writing and literature at Fordham University and tutors writing for not only college application essays but also academic and creative writing.
