THURSDAY NIGHT NEWS
July 1, 2021 Issue #39
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PA PRESIDENT

Dear LaGuardia Parents/Guardians,

This Sunday Night News marks my last SNN as President of our PA. I want to express my gratitude to everyone for making the most of a very difficult year. You have supported all of our activities and fundraising, and next year will be glorious again, thanks to everyone hanging in and reaching for what we know LaGuardia can be!

Recently, we launched our new website - all it needs now is for you to sign in and join us. Our goal over the summer is to harness the power of the site and bring all the information you are looking for to the site!

So what is next is up to you! You are in great hands with Tahira and Yvonne as your next co-presidents. Work together to bring back LaGuardia from the pandemic, and help out where you can! I am so pleased with the time I’ve spent advocating for our kids and our families. I’ve made friends I wouldn’t have ever met if it weren’t for the PA. I am grateful for those friendships.

I thank you all for working with me for this greater magic of LaGuardia, and I cannot wait to attend the next first performance live and in person as a guest very soon!

As my daughter wrote to the next incoming class in drama, “nurture this place!”

Love to you all!

Melissa Scott
PA President
July 2019 -June 2021
