Introducing Friday Fiber Friends

We've been having so much fun during the Mid-Summer Tee MAL Friday Stitching Sessions that I don't want it to end. So...Iet's continue the community stitching fun with Fiber Friday Friends!

Join us in the shop every Friday from 12 - 1:30PM for community stitching Fun! Bring your current project or pick out your next project. Get some help or give some help. There really are no rules!

This event is FREE and does not require advance sign-up. Kudos to Caitlin for the catchy name!

Nancy Bates Book Launch & Signing Event

I could not believe my good fortune this weekend when I was able to finalize a book signing event with the legendary Nancy Bates!

Nancy has been crazy busy with launching her 3rd book, Knitting the U.S.A. in mid-October and organizing the 3rd annual SoCal Fiber Fair. But she's making time to visit Cambria on Sunday November 2nd. She'll be signing books from 12-3 PM in the shop.

This new book as well as her other 2 books, Knitting the National Parks and Knitting California, will be available to purchase in the shop, or you can bring one you already own for her to sign for you! She also loves to see your finished beanies...so bring those and show off your talent.

We'll have ready-to-go kits for many of her beanie patterns! You can also email in advance if there's a specific kit you're looking for.

October Anniversary Weekend Smirligans Popup

The weekend of October 4th & 5th marks the 2nd anniversary of when I bought the shop.

Weekend of Stitching in Cambria Sept 26 - 28

What could be better than an enjoyable and relaxing weekend of stitching in Cambria?

Join us September 26 - 28, 2025 for a trunk show and workshops with Barry Klein of Trendsetter Yarns!

The stitching and shopping fun starts on Friday evening, September 26th, with a trunk show and wine tasting event in the shop featuring the newest yarns and designs from Trendsetter Yarns.

There are workshops in the shop on Saturday and Sunday from on 9:30AM - 12:30PM where you will learn from Barry Klein, the owner of Trendsetter Yarns and one of the biggest sensations in the knitting world.
