NYS Attorney General Comes Home to Washington Heights to Host Forum on Labor Rights!

On Thursday March, 6th, fresh off of the victory to win 20 Domino's workers their jobs back, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will lead a discussion on labor rights impacting our community. AG Schneiderman will bring together experts on labor issues including SEUI 32BJ, La Fuente Inc., Make The Road NY and New York Communities for Change.

This event will be co-sponsored by Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, State Senator Adriano Espaillat, Assembly Member Gabriela Rosa, Assembly Member Denny Farrell and Council Member Mark Levine.

The forum will touch on a number of issues including:

  • Minimum Wage
  • Overtime
  • Laws Relating to Tipped Employees
  • Recently Passed Laws Relating to Labor
  • Immigrant Workers; and More
It is imperative that all New Yorkers know their labor rights so that they are not mistreated on the job. We hope you can make it to this important discussion with Attorney General Schneiderman.
