LaborNet: Your Source for

Qualified, Background Checked Labor

As a reminder, the Department of Defense (DOD) mandates that all labor servicing household goods shipments be properly qualified and successfully complete a background check. This requirement is fundamental in protecting service members and maintaining the integrity of the DP3 program.

As the moving industry continues to face challenges finding qualified background checked labor, NFC is working to strengthen the direction of our network to ensure consistent compliance, accountability, and service quality across all shipments.

To support this initiative, NFC has established a partnership with LaborNet, the moving industry’s first consolidated and centralized platform for sourcing background checked labor. This labor platform will serve as a primary tool in aligning our network with DOD requirements and NFC expectations.

There is no cost to utilize LaborNet. Drivers must utilize compliant labor sources, and LaborNet offers three direct ways to secure qualified support:

• Submit a general request to all qualified, available labor in the area, allowing individuals to accept assignments based on availability.
• Submit a request to a vetted local crew, who can coordinate and provide labor from within their established team.
• Search within the platform and directly invite a specific, pre-qualified individual to service the move.

This approach ensures a standardized, compliant, and reliable labor sourcing process across our network and reinforces our collective responsibility to meet DOD requirements while delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

begin securing their labor via the LaborNet App, ASAP.

02 Complete Your Driver Profile in the App

Go to Settings>>Account:

Enter Organization Code: CRZ-QWL-MXP-VHT to link to the National Forwarding platform.

03 What Drivers Can Expect Immediately

Drivers can start using the app to find labor or labor crews right away, which will require manual entry of shipment details.

04 What Drivers Can Expect by Peak Season

Our shipment information will populate in the app and the driver will simply select the type of services needed by the labor. In turn, we will receive the names of the labor selected on the move.

About Your Labor

All labor selected MUST have an active CID (Consortium ID) number in the the app, otherwise they are not QUALIFIED/BACKGROUND CHECKED.

We also recommend inviting your labor to get signed up to use the app. The cost to them is $30 per year, in order to receive the CID/background check.

01 Inviting Your Laborers to Join

Search the app before inviting a laborer to join by clicking on the spyglass labeled People at the bottom of the screen, choose Search Laborers. 

02 Laborers Not in LaborNet or No Valid CID?

Laborers not found or do not have a CID number should be invited to join.



1. From the main menu, under the three-line menu icon, choose Invite.

2. Enter the laborer's email address and/or phone number and click Send Invite.

03 The Details for Your Labor

Sign up requirements for background check:

• Photo ID
• Address
• Social Security number, if available

How long does the process take?

• The application takes about 5 minutes to complete.
• They will receive a "pass" or "fail" within 2-7 days.
• CID number is good for one year.
