Important information
  • Whether your child is new or experienced, they still need to attend evaluations to ensure, comparatively, that they will fit on a particular team that is appropriate for their growth.
  • The older age groups (5/6 and up) will have competitive divisions. If you do not want your child in a competitive division, please let your League Director know.
  • If you cannot make any evaluations, your child will be placed where appropriate based on previous evaluations, experience, etc. We understand winter sports are ongoing, but based on our season start, our timing is critical and customary for lacrosse in the area.
  • Teams for 3rd grade and above will be announced in early February. Some teams will be decided before then and may be announced. Other teams will not be announced until later awaiting evaluations, new registrants, coaching assignments, etc.
All equipment is required for the evaluations and we ask you to please come dressed with the following:
  • Boys - helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick
    • Place tape on the front of the helmet with your child's first name and last initial to help us call them by name (please do this especially if you son has never played before or played a limited amount of time)
  • Girls - mouthpiece, goggles, stick
  • Shirt - wear any pinnie/jersey with a number on it so that we can identify each child for the evaluations (if you don't have one, we will provide one for the first night)
Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in and get your location assigned, get dressed and warm up.  Evaluations will begin sharply at the assigned times as there is a lot to accomplish in the brief period of time available.

Stay tuned for additional details, but please contact your League Directors with any questions or if cannot make any evaluations:

If you know anyone who has not registered yet, please encourage them to get registered soon.  No one can participate without registering due to CBAA policy and insurance purposes. Thanks again for your support and we look forward to seeing you out there!

Girls Uniform Fitting at Sportswear Plus

Girls uniforms can be tried on for size from on Monday, January 9 to Monday, January 23 at Sportswear Plus (4210 Burnt House Hill Rd, Doylestown).

Sportswear Plus Showroom Hours

Monday-Friday 10am-5pm
Saturday 10am-2pm

All girls (especially 5th-8th graders) are strongly encouraged to try on uniforms as the uniforms tend to run small.  After trying on and determining the appropriate size, you will need to record your order on the list that Sportswear Plus will have in the showroom.

Important Information

Uniform orders and number selections must be completed by January 25th (last day of fitting), otherwise sizing will be assigned based on your registration and numbers assigned based on available remaining at your child's size.

Please understand that registration, team assignment, uniform fitting, number compiling, projecting, and ordering is a very time-consuming process. The sooner you can complete the process above, the sooner we can order the uniforms, which take approximately 8 weeks to receive.  Firm dates are critical for us to get everything in time for our game season start, which is tentatively slated for the end of March.

Intramural Lacrosse is a great place to learn the game, meet new friends, and cross-train for your fall and winter sports.

Unlike most IM sports, Lacrosse does travel to surrounding area teams in Warrington, Deep Run, Council Rock, North Penn, Springfield, etc. Even our Bobblehead League (K-2) participates in weekly play days with multiple teams participating around the local area.

Boys in 3rd - 8th grade and Girls in 5th - 8th grade will have evaluations for all of our teams to ensure proper placement by skill level and grade in January.

In addition, we will be hosting some indoor practices over the winter and into the spring until the weather breaks to help the kids get back into the swing of things, become familiar with their coaches and teammates and get them out of the house!

We encourage you to register soon so that you receive age-specific information on tryouts and pre-season practices.

Season:         March - May 2017 (nothing Easter and Memorial Day weekends)

Frequency:    1-2 practices/week with 8-9 games

Skill Levels:   Like our Fall Ball, each age group will consist of varying levels of
skill to ensure maximum growth, competition, and enjoyment.

Objective:      To have similarly skilled kids playing against each other to
challenge each to better results (see more about the
Girls Lax  and Boys Lax programs)

Thank you for all of your effort and support to make  CBAA Lacrosse the best lacrosse program in the area!

Coaches/Volunteers Needed for Spring Lacrosse

With the significant growth in lacrosse in this area, the need for coaches has grown significantly. Our Coach Development Program is very robust and if you have the interest in coaching, CBAA Lax will pay for your US Lacrosse Coaching Certifications!

Coaching lacrosse is similar in structure, drills, skill sets, offensive and defensive sets and many other areas to basketball, soccer, and hockey.  If you're a great coach in other sports, you're chances of being a great coach in lacrosse are pretty good.

For more information of coaching, c ontact March Coleman, Director o f Coach Development, at  march.coleman@cbaasports.org

If you are interested in volunteering in other areas of our lacrosse community, please reach out to  laxevents@cbaasports.org

Thanks in advance for your interest in helping CBAA Lax grow!
