Football Season Is Upon Us

Are you ready for football? T he Seneca Redhawks are!  Mark your calendar for the first home football game Friday, September 8 against Southern at 7:00pm.  It's Homecoming so there will -be an alumni tent in the end zone.  Join us!
 
If your company is interested in purchasing permanent advertising for Ron Cain Stadium or 'traveling' advertising for football, basketball and baseball seasons, contact us!  We are also selling advertising for a football program this year.  Contact us for all the details if you are interested!

Hey football fans!  You can't miss this opportunity!  The Western Kentucky University Greater Louisville Alumni Chapter is hosting a WKU Football Kick-Off Party with Seneca's own A.J. Jackson!  Come out and hear what WKU's new football coach, Mike Sanford, has to say about this season.  A.J. will be representing Seneca High School so let's go out and support him and show our spirit!

Julius Friedman - c/o '61
 

Seneca Past and Present, alumni, friends and family were saddened to hear of the passing of one of Seneca's greats - Julius Friedman - this week.  Julius had been suffering from leukemia and passed away on July 16th.  An internationally known and respected graphic designer, photographer, artist and design-studio owner, he was one of Kentucky's most influential artists and certainly one of Seneca's most distinguished alumni.  He was inducted into the Seneca Hall of Fame last fall.  You can see more by visiting our website.
Hall of Fame

Our Hall of Fame Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, November 11.  Mark your calendars and make plans to attend!  Our Hall of Fame Committee has not made the list of inductees public yet but, you won't be disappointed!  What a great class!  Information on tickets is forthcoming. Make sure you watch our newsletters and website for more details.
Reunions

Here's the information we have on upcoming reunions.  Please contact us with any additional details on reunions and we will include on the website.

Class of 1967 reunion will be on Friday and Saturday 04-05 August 2017.  Check out all the details by going to our website!

Class of 1983 is trying to get started on their 35th reunion in 2018.  Contact Craig Garrison if you are interested in assisting - [email protected].

Class of 2008 - This class is in the planning stages for the 10-year reunion next year.  Stay tuned for more information!
