Lady Tiger Weekly
Week 15

The Lady Tigers played three games this past week, including two important region contests.

On Tuesday, Varsity traveled to Higley and defeated the Lady Knights 63-31.

Following that, they played school rival Highland in their first home game of the season.

The Lady Tigers dropped that game 44-32 unfortunately, but bounced back on Friday, beating Campo Verde 64-40.

JV battled hard in all three of their games, but finished 0-3.

Congratulations to junior Nicole Evenson for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Higley! She finished with 25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Nicole also shot 59% from the field.
Congratulations to freshman Morgan Evenson for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Highland! She finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Morgan also shot a game-high five of five from behind the arc.
Congratulations to freshman Morgan Evenson for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Campo Verde! She finished with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Morgan also drew the only charge of the game.
Other notable performances from the week include freshman Meisha Caserio, who finished with 22 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals against Higley and freshman Kiki Kowitz, who tallied 9 points and 6 rebounds against Campo Verde!

Currently, the Lady Tigers are leading the state in three pointers made!
The program secured their third victory of the season last Friday, but also made sure to celebrate Coach Guy's birthday in the process!
