This week the ladies practiced Monday through Thursday, with bunches of activity in between.
Before practice on Tuesday, the JV and varsity teams played "Yes and, No but", the classic improv game centered around turning a 'no' into a 'yes', being solutions orientated, and going with the flow!
Wednesday night, the program enjoyed their first (virtual) parent meeting of the season.
Our student athletes also learned the meaning behind the program's mantra of "Row the Boat" before practice that evening.
Any one that missed our parent meeting this week can use this link to view Coach Walker's slideshow.
Finally, on Saturday morning, the varsity team got together to compete in the first annual Gilbert Girl's Basketball Talent Show. In the end, the sophomores narrowly defeated the freshman and juniors to take home first place!
The list of categories and winners for each can be seen to the right.
