Week 17

For the second time this season, the Lady Tigers played three games in one week.

JV defeated Casteel 33-24 on Tuesday, while Varsity lost 45-33.

Thursday, Varsity traveled to Horizon and beat the Huskies 35-24.

JV and Varsity both bested Ironwood on Friday, completing the program's first sweep of the season.

JV pulled out a tough one in overtime 30-28 and Varsity won convincedly 55-27.

Congratulations to junior Saadia Salim for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Casteel! She finished with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 steal. Saadia also shot three of four from the field.
Congratulations to junior Saadia Salim for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Horizon! She finished with 9 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Saadia also played a season-high 28 minutes.
Congratulations to freshman Meisha Caserio for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Ironwood! She finished with 27 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals. Meisha also shot a game-high 53% from the field.
Other notable performances from the week include freshman Morgan Evenson, who finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals against Ironwood and junior Nicole Evenson, who tallied 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 steals against Ironwood as well!

During Friday's game against Ironwood, our coaches rocked white converses to honor the late Mark David, who was killed by a drunk driver over twenty years ago. Coach David was know for wearing Chuck Taylors and by following his lead, our staff hoped to not only share his story, but also bring awareness to the dangers of drunk driving.
The program also got together on Saturday morning for a "Share the Love" activity!
