Week 19

It was a busy stretch of days for the Lady Tigers, as they had three contests, including a tough back-to-back to close out the week.

Varsity defeated Desert Mountain at home 56-43 on Tuesday, before traveling to Millennium on Friday night.

The Lady Tigers lost 55-43, but bounced back on Saturday, as they traveled down to Tucson for an early-afternoon matchup with Sunnyside, winning 46-33.

JV dropped their only game of the week against Millennium.

Congratulations to junior Nicole Evenson for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Desert Mountain! She finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Nicole also shot a game-high four of eight from behind the arc.
Congratulations to freshman Meisha Caserio for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Millennium! She finished with 15 points and 3 rebounds. Meisha also shot 50% from the field.

Other notable performances from the week include freshman Morgan Evenson, who finished with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals against Millennium and junior Saadia Salim, who tallied 4 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocks against Sunnyside!
