Week 21

The Lady Tigers began their playoff run this past week and enter this upcoming week with two victories under their belts!

On Tuesday, they defeated eighth seeded Sunnyside at home 41-20.

Then, on Friday they beat sixtieth seeded Paradise Valley 61-36 at home to punch their ticket to the 5A State Semifinals.

The Lady Tigers will face fifth seeded Flowing Wells on the road this Wednesday with a spot in the 5A State Championship on the line.

Congratulations to junior Nicole Evenson for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Sunnyside! She finished with 10 points, 16 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block. Nicole was a team-leading +23 in thirty minutes.
Congratulations to freshman Meisha Caserio for being selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game against Paradise Valley! She finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals. Meisha knocked down a team-leading three triples on three of six shooting.
Other notable performances from the week include junior Nicole Evenson, who finished with 13 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 blocks against Paradise Valley and freshman Kiki Kowitz, who tallied 9 points on three of three shooting from downtown against Paradise Valley as well!
