Ladysmith Chamber Joins Forces with Coastal Communities to Advocate for Vital Investments in BC Ferries
The Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce has added its support to the Greater Victoria Chamber, Tourism Industry Association of BC, and other business organizations in calling for immediate investment in five new major vessels for BC Ferries.
A reliable ferry system is essential to our economy, tourism sector, and daily life. With aging vessels, increasing delays, and record-breaking demand, urgent action is required. Investing in new ferries will expand capacity, improve service reliability, and drive long-term economic growth for Vancouver Island and coastal communities like Ladysmith.
We stand firmly behind this critical initiative.
