Hear directly from candidates for MLA for the riding of Ladysmith - Oceanside in live discussion, answering questions and sharing their perspectives and priorities for our community ahead of the provincial election on October 19.

This non-partisan event is free and open to all community members. No registration required.

The Ladysmith & District Credit Union will be hosting a Chamber Business Mixer in celebration of International Credit Union day on October 17th. International Credit Union (ICU) Day® has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the tremendous work that credit unions and other financial cooperatives are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more engaged.

The Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce is proud to Sponsor the Ladysmith Tour de Rock - Adopt-a-Rider 2024 program! This is a win win opportunity to show your support for this most inspirational fundraising event as well as promote your business.  

The Ladysmith Tour de Rock committee is looking for sponsors to adopt each of the Tour de Rock riders for $100 each. The majority of this money goes to Cops for Cancer, which funds pediatric cancer research as well as sending kids with a history of cancer along with their families to Camp Good Times – where they get to be ‘kids’ for a week!

A small portion pays for the riders dinner at the Ladysmith Red Serge dinner held on September 30th. Your sponsorship includes:

• A ticket to the Red Serge Dinner
• Signage with your business name or logo
• A photo with you (or delegate) alongside your adopted rider with your sign.
• You will receive a digital copy of the photo to showcase your business.

Canada Summer Job Funding / Summer Students

Thank you to our fantastic CSJ students! You may have seen Peyton who has returned for a 3rd year, and new CSJ hires Ellie and LilyAnh out and about taking photos, putting up posters... They kept busy providing excellent visitor services at the Visitor Centre, creating brochures and assisting with the social media. This summer they also provided mobile visitor services at Transfer Beach on Sundays as well. As they head back to school we wish them all the best with their studies!
