It's Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!
  We Love Our Teachers
Lafayette's amazing staff works hard for our kids year-round,  and for this week we are expressing our thanks for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! Don't forget to send in desserts tomorrow with your child -- we will spread them out in the teacher's lounge for staff to fill up take-home boxes to enjoy.
Thursday the HSA is setting up a smoothie bar in the teacher's lounge at lunchtime. And then Friday, we're asking each child to send in a single flower for their teachers to create unique classroom bouquets the staff can enjoy all weekend. Broad Branch Market has been warned and will have single stems for sale.
We still could use a couple volunteers to help collect desserts tomorrow at drop-off and bring them to the lounge - if you can help, please email  Nedra Pickler .
