Community Service Fair on MLK Day

Don't forget that the MLK Day Community Service Fair at Lafayette is coming up next Monday the 16th, from 1:00-3:00! Please click here to RSVP and contribute the necessary supplies. The sooner you RSVP the better, so we'll know how many folks to expect. All Lafayette students and their families are invited to join us for this drop-in event where kids will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on activities to support worthy organizations in the DC area. We're still seeking middle and high-school students to help set-up, clean-up and facilitate the activities. If you know of students who would like to earn community service hours, or who would just enjoy the chance to help, please have them contact Katie Burke.

We look forward to joining together as a school community to raise awareness around the needs faced by others, and to contribute in a meaningful way. If you have questions about this event, please reach out to Melissa Jones or Katie Burke.
