In the world of fine wine investment and collecting, we look for "Market Anomalies"—moments where the quality in the glass and the price on the invoice are fundamentally disconnected.

Today is one of those moments.

The 2021 Tuscan vintage is phenomenal. As expected, the "Titans" took home the 97-point medals. But while those bottles are trading for the price of a mortgage payment, one wine managed to land the exact same 97-point score while remaining under $50.

This is the 2021 Piaggia Carmignano Riserva. It is produced from Cabernet cuttings taken directly from Château Lafite Rothschild and crafted by the same consulting team behind GAJA. Historically, Carmignano is the "original" Super Tuscan, and in 2021, it has officially humbled the giants.
