On Monday evening, the Family Association hosted the first Learn at Laguna event of the year, focusing on student mental health and learning needs after an ADHD diagnosis. The insightful panel featured LBS School Counselor Kim Valentine, LBS Director of Academic Services Collene Pavlics, and guest speaker and author Kristina Kuzmic and clinical psychologist Dr. William Lacey. CHEER ON THE OWLS AT OUR HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME AND ENTER TO WIN CHARGER TICKETS | |
Come out and bring your friends to cheer on the Owls at the Homecoming game on October 19 at 1PM! Enter to win two tickets to the Charger vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on December 15, including a parking pass ($1,300 value)! The winning ticket will be pulled during half-time, and you must be present to win. One ticket per person. Reserve your ticket ahead of time, or claim it at the game. Backyard Bowls and Elubia’s Kitchen food trucks will be on-site for food purchase. The FA is seeking volunteers to help on Game Day—please consider lending a hand! | |

Lower School parents are invited to our annual Halloween Carnival, October 31. Enjoy a student costume parade, Coach Robitaille’s skeleton square dance, trick-or-treating at games tables run by parents, light refreshments, and a bounce house! GIRLS TENNIS TEAM WINS 10-8 AGAINST FOOTHILL TECH | |
The Owls pulled out a tight road victory over Foothill Tech on Tuesday.
“The match was decided in round three and that demonstrates how close the teams were,” says Laguna Blanca Coach Santiago Segovia. “The Owls showed great sportsmanship and commitment to represent their school in the best way possible. Their hard work and determination were key to pull off this win.”
Top singles player Caroline Kenny '25 led the charge for Laguna Blanca, going 3-0 and losing just three total games.
The Owls will host Thacher for another league matchup next Thursday.
