New Member Proposal
The Lake Chelan Rotary Board has approved Krysta Westmoreland as a proposed member in the club. Krysta is sponsored by Mike Steele.   She and her husband Gary Westmoreland recently moved from New Hampshire to Chelan to open The Meat Shop. Krysta has extensive experience in fundraising and event planning in the non-profit world, was involved in her local Chamber, and has marketing expertise. She looks forward to meeting new people through contributing to community work.

If members have any comments regarding this proposal, please contact President Ty Witt in advance of the July 24 meeting.
Rotarians at Work
Lead by President Ty Witt, Community Service Team 2 members continued work started by other Rotarians earlier in the month and completed a laundry room hookup, demolished entry steps and built a new, walker-friendly entrance for Manson homeowner Carrie DeLacey, shown below with the team.  Construction of a 12x10 ft concrete pad at the Manson home is nearly finished.

Views of the Lake

This week's View of Domke Lake was taken on July 16. The out and back trail, accessible from Refrigerator Harbor or Lucerne, is about 5.2 miles round trip with approximately 1,300 feet elevation gain. Heavily damaged by the Wolverine fire in 2015, the trail is now open again with underbrush making a comeback.
