A Message from Lake Forest II
As most of you are aware, Orange County moved on the State Coronavirus tier system from the Purple Tier to the Red Tier. This means our Fitness Center can resume indoor operations at 10% of capacity. We plan to open next Monday, September 14th, with a limit of 4 members per time slot. The reservations will be 60 minutes in length, with 10 minutes in between. All users must disinfect the equipment before and after each use. The Fitness Center will be cleaned each morning, and periodically through the day. It will not be cleaned between each time slot, so please use your towel and the disinfect wipes and spray provided to clean the equipment.

The Outdoor Exercise Area will remain open by reservation as well to accommodate more members. Capacity will remain at 4 for this spot. This area will have exercise bikes, ellipticals, a treadmill, a weight bench, some dumbbells, and a jump rope. Equipment could be moved to the gym based on resident input.

We are also resuming some outdoor classes and activities. The Winter Dolphins swim program will be starting on Monday, September 14th with USA Swimming COVID 19 guidelines in place and a limited capacity. Diane Meyerson will return with Yoga on the Lake classes in a few weeks, and Bethany is back with Water Aerobics classes this month. Taekwondo will resume classes September 21st with non-contact exercise and drills on the amphitheater. Winter Dolphins and classes will only be open to Sun & Sail Club members for the time being. More information can be found on the website and will be updated as arrangements are finalized. Waivers are required for all members, and can be found here for those who have not completed one yet.

Per the California Department of Public Health, hot tubs remain closed and pool restrictions remain in effect for the time being. But we are moving in the right direction.

Stay healthy and well…and hope to see you soon!
