A Message from Lake Forest II
Coronavirus continues to impact our community in an unprecedented way, including Lake Forest II. As we begin to reopen amenities, our priority is the safety of our residents and our staff.

Although the Upper Tennis Courts and Pickleball Courts are open with emergency guidelines in place, the pools and other amenities remain closed. All counties in California remain in various phases of Stage 2 of the reopening plan, which means, according to the State's website , no swimming pools or gyms are allowed to open . Although some counties have allowed association pools to open despite the State order, Orange County has not . Your Board of Directors continues to petition the Orange County Board of Supervisors and the Orange County Health Department to reconsider their position, and allow association pools to be opened with safety guidelines and limits on attendance. Please click to see copies of the letters sent to Supervisor Lisa Bartlett and Governor Newsom . We are hoping that they will change their directive soon.

The Board of Directors’ meeting will be held Wednesday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Banquet Rooms at the Clubhouse to allow for social distancing. Those that wish to submit a comment for the Board but are unable to attend the meeting can do so by emailing Alisa Woolsey before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3. The comments will be distributed to each Board Member to be read before the meeting. The Clubhouse front doors will be locked; members are asked to enter directly into the Banquet Rooms through the side patio gate. The gate will be opened at 7:00 p.m. to allow for the Executive Session prior. Masks are required, and we ask that all attendees allow 6’ between themselves and others not in their household. The agenda for the meeting is available by clicking here , and includes various issues related to the reopening of the Sun & Sail Club amenities and the proposed Car Wash in Heritage Hill Plaza.

As we face these challenging times, we are reminded of how fortunate we are to be part of the Lake Forest II Community, with the support and compassion we see on a daily basis. The strength of our community will guide us through this and on behalf of the Board of Directors of Lake Forest II, I wish you health and well-being.
