We hope this email finds you all safe and healthy. Our thoughts are with you all as we navigate this difficult time.

The Clubhouse remains closed, but we are continuing to provide services to Lake Forest II homeowners. MAC applications are being accepted and processed for home projects. Accounting staff is available to assist with refinancing and escrow document requests. Community Services staff can assist with enforcement issues and answer questions. 

Maintenance work is ongoing; as an essential service landscaping is proceeding, as are seasonal projects and repairs. The lower tennis courts are scheduled for resurfacing during the closure, and staff is painting the perimeter fencing; two tasks originally scheduled for later in the year. 

The Board of Directors has made the decision to delay the Annual Meeting and election 60 days to protect the health and safety of our homeowners. The Annual Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, August 3, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Ballots will be mailed to homeowner around June 15. This year there are 7 candidates for 7 Board positions. Unfortunately, California Civil code requires we hold an election regardless of the number of candidates and prohibits online elections.

The pedestrian gates to the Clubhouse parking lot are opened daily for those who need to drop off payment or forms. There is a mail slot to the right of the Front Doors; please use this for anything you need to leave for staff.  Alternatively, you are welcome to mail documents or assessments to the Clubhouse. If you prefer to sign up for automatic payments, or ACH, please contact Cindy Christenson .

The Lake Forest II Board of Directors understands that many homeowners are likely to be financially impacted by the current national emergency caused by COVID-19. Monthly assessments are still payable each month so the Association can continue to meet its legal obligations and maintain the community. However, the Board is committed to working individually with those homeowners who may be significantly impacted by this crisis and have difficulty with timely payment of their monthly Association dues.

We will begin swim lesson registration when we have a timeline for re-opening the swimming pools. Summer camp registration is open now at Campco Day Camps . For now, all April events have been postponed and we are waiting to see what May has in store for us. 

Lake Forest II has temporarily suspended printing and mailing of the monthly Mainsheet . We will send eBlasts in the interim, and hope to ultimately make a digital Mainsheet available to those who wish to opt out of receiving a printed copy in the mail each month.
