Lake Geneva Schools and the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA are excited to announce that they are partnering to provide children in the community with adventure, learning, safety, friends, and fun this summer!

During June, children in 4K-8th grade can participate in Lake Geneva Schools’ Summer Enrichment Program. New this year, the program will be a full-day program, Monday through Friday, at Eastview Elementary School. This program is FREE* to Lake Geneva Joint #1 students and families that reside in the Lake Geneva Joint #1 School District. Non-district/resident students can attend for a weekly fee. All children will receive breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. 

For the rest of summer, July and August, children can participate in the Traditional YMCA Day Camp! This program will be a full-day program, Monday through Friday, at Eastview Elementary School. The Traditional YMCA Day Camp is a fee-based program perfect for campers ages 4-12 who like a bit of everything, from sports to crafts and games to art; they will experience it all!

* $25 weekly supply fee includes a shirt, water bottle, and more.

Lake Geneva Schools' Summer Enrichment program offers stimulating, hands-on learning to 4K-8th grade students. The program promotes life-long learning while making friends and having fun. Our dedicated teachers who are passionate about their subjects can't wait to share their excitement and ideas with students! 

Each week is packed with various activities centered around physical movement, social interaction, educational opportunities, leadership building, personal growth, and creativity planned by our teachers around weekly themes. Students will be divided into small groups by age, with activities appropriate to the interests and needs of each group.



7:00 - 8:45 a.m.: Arrival/Snack

8:45 - 11:30 a.m.: Theme Based Activities

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Lunch/Playground

12:30 - 3:00 p.m.: Theme Based Activities

3:00 - 3:45 p.m.: Snack/Dismissal

3:45 - 6:00 p.m.: Pick-up

Breakfast and Lunch are available for Free through the Summer Food Service Program. An afternoon snack will also be provided.



June 6 - 9, 2023 | Mad Science!  

Is your child ready for crazy concoctions and super science? This week is all about discovery as students enjoy hands-on experiences with goopy, slimy, overflowing science experiments!   Students will learn the process of asking questions, critical thinking, conducting experiments, and discussing the results.

June 12 - 16, 2023 | In It To Win It!

What is summer enrichment without a sports and games week? This week will be filled with games and sports of all sorts! We will be racing to beat the clock in team challenges and racing for the gold! We will also enjoy special themed days like silly sock day, super soaker day, and crazy hair day! We might even end the week with a Wacky Ball tournament! Show your spirit! Go Team GO!

June 19 - 23, 2023 | Mystery Adventure Week!

Who doesn’t like a fun adventure or a good mystery? This week will be full of surprises! There may be clues, but no one knows…Will it be a trip to a secret location? Will we have a special visitor? Will we be making yummy treats? Can you contain your excitement?

June 26 - 30, 2023 | Summer Stars and Stripes

Students will continue the holiday hoopla by exploring what makes our country great and what the colors red, white, and blue stand for.  We will be learning about the character traits of honor, respect, and service. We will top off the week with an America the Great Parade. Bring your bicycle to decorate with streamers! Have your face painted in patriotic colors! Stars and Stripes, Forever!

Supply Fee

All participants pay a $25 weekly supply fee that includes a shirt, water bottle, and more. Please note a $25 non-refundable supply fee per week will be required at the time of registration. If you cancel, for any reason, the $25 fee will not be returned.

This is perfect for campers ages 4-12 who like a bit of everything, from sports to crafts and games to art; they will experience it all! The focus on friends, accomplishment, and belonging, will help your child make new friends, develop independence, and try new things - whether they join the camp for one week or more! 

Each week is packed with various activities centered around physical movement, social interaction, educational opportunities, leadership building, personal growth, and creativity planned by our caring and professional staff around weekly themes. Along with these great activities, campers will also experience field trips and swimming! Day campers will be divided into small groups by age, with activities appropriate to the interests and needs of each group.
