Every Weekend - Yerkes Observatory is open for free public tours every Saturday throughout the year. Regular Saturday tours are designed for families and other small groups. During the tours, the tour guide provides a brief talk on the history of Yerkes, astronomical research, and our amazing Universe. He will also take visitors into the 90-foot dome, one of the largest of its kind ever built. Grand Finale of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series
The top professional snowmobile racers on the planet will invade Grand Geneva Resort & Spa March 18-20 to compete in the annual season-ending event. Year-end championships will be on the line as racers take to the snow one last time and attempt to capture a spot atop the national Snocross podium. Friday night kicks off with a Monster Slednecks Invasion Tour freestyle showcase. Then race action kicks off on Saturday 9:30am with the Pro/Semi Pro Main Event on Sunday at noon. The Lake Geneva Marathon and associated races is in it's 26th year. The Series consists of a USAT&F certified marathon, a 22-mile Euro Cross-Country marathon on the famous Lake Geneva path, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K road races, and a marathon walk.
