The Mohave County Department of Public Health is proud to offer the Senior Nutrition Program with sites in Golden Shores, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City, which includes both congregate meals served at our facilities and home-delivered meals through our Meals on Wheels program. In addition to providing nutritious meals, we serve as a vital community hub, offering wellness programs, social activities, and creative opportunities to keep seniors engaged and active.

In collaboration with the Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG), United Healthcare, an Arizona Long Term Care (AHCCCS) contractor, and through the generosity of private donations, our Senior Nutrition Program provides balanced meals for adults aged 60 and older who are unable to prepare their own meals due to physical or medical limitations.

Our Meals on Wheels program is dedicated to supporting homebound older adults by preparing, packaging, and delivering nutritious meals directly to their homes. This service goes beyond nutrition; it offers opportunities for social connection, companionship, and wellness checks to promote overall well-being.
