Ready to do a little spring cleaning?
We're having our annual GARAGE SALE!
Garage sale benefits church missions and special church projects.   
This event has been going strong for more than 20 years, and it attracts donors and shoppers from all over the Metroplex.
Garage Sale
for set up after worship services this 
Sunday, April 21st
and clean up on
Saturday, April 27th.

Other volunteer opportunities
You can drop off donations at church beginning Sunday after 1pm and throughout the week.  Please Donate: Clean and gently used furniture, housewares, towels and bedding in like-new condition (please indicate the size of the bedding and package sets together), sporting equipment, toys, games, books, puzzles, working electronics (indicate everything you know about the item and include all cords, instruction manuals, etc), baby items, clothing, etc.  Please, NO large old TV's and NO heavy, winter clothing items. 
The sale is open to church families on Thursday evening, April 25th from 6-8pm. 
Open to the public Friday and Saturday, April 26th & 27th from 8am-3pm.

National Day of Prayer

National Day of Prayer.  Please feel free to come and go as your schedule permits.

Youth Mission Trip Stock Sales...
Stock Certificate ~ youth mission trip

Your investment in their trip will allow the Youth to travel beyond the church walls to
McDowell County, West Virginia. There they will serve one of the poorest counties in the United States by rebuilding and sharing the love of Christ.
You can purchase your stocks outside the Sanctuary and in the back of the Great Hall before and after the church services. Stockholders will be invited to a special dinner to thank them for their investment and hear about the ways we served the community.
Interested in participating in the mission trip? -- Only a few youth spots are still available.

Cartridges For Kids Recycling Program

This program (CFK) pays LHUMC cash for cell phones, empty laser and inkjet cartridges, laptops, iPods, PDAs, video games & consoles, digital cameras, DVDs and GPS devices.

Please note that we only accept select items

For example, we take:

Laptops (but not other computer equipment)

Cell phones (but no other type of phone)

Digital cameras (but not film cameras)

DVD's (but not DVD players)

Other electronics can be donated to the garage sale if they are working or recycled through the City of Dallas if they are not.
