Lake Okeechobee North Shore Locks Scheduled to Close Temporarily for Maintenance

Okeechobee, FL - For b
oaters navigating to and from Lake Okeechobee, four navigation locks on the north shore will be closed for one day each in the coming weeks for maintenance. The scheduled closures are:
- August 28 - Martin County: S-135 structure, J&S Fish Camp
- August 30 - Okeechobee County: G-36 structure, Henry Creek
- September 5 - Glades County: S-127 structure, Buckhead Ridge
- September 7 - Glades County: S-131 structure, Lakeport
