Our streets go live

Sound the trumpets! The March-A-Thon hit the streets TOMORROW.

Get ready for a high-energy mini neighborhood parade that’ll have your Saturday morning dancing in the driveway.

This isn’t your average fundraiser. It's a music-blasting, spirit-packed takeover! With drums pounding and brass blazing, the Lake Travis Cavalier Band is bringing the energy.

Now it’s our turn.

Let’s line the streets, cheer them on, and show the Cavalier Band that Lake Pointe can match their spirit!

When: Saturday, Aug. 16

Time: 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Kickoff Location: Lake Pointe Community Center

Finale Location: Napa Park

Parade like a pro:

  1. Pick your spot – watch from your front yard, driveway, or along the route
  2. Gather your crew – rally your family, friends, and neighbors to clap, cheer, and boogie with the band.
  3. Show your spirit – signs, bubbles, flags, and cowbells. Bring the flair and let it fly.
  4. Support the band – spot the buckets and scan the QR codes. Every tip helps fuel the music by covering travel, scholarships, instruments, and more. This year, your support matters even more since the band lost its biggest fundraiser due to stadium renovations.
  5. Have fun – Sing, dance, wave, and soak up the joy. This is a celebration of music and community.

Concert café pop-up

The band’s bringing the brass, and Guernica Café is bringing the sass.

This Spicewood favorite will be serving drip coffee that grooves and baked goods that jam, because what’s a morning concert without a little sugar and caffeine?

Bring your lawn chairs, soak up the music, and enjoy some coffee and pastries with your neighbors. It’s going to be a vibe you won’t want to miss.

When: Saturday, Aug. 16

Time: 9 to 11 a.m.

Where: Napa Park

Come for the music, stay for the munchies. Or vice versa. We’re not judging.

Curb appeal checklist

Thinking about sprucing up your home’s exterior? Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint, a new fence, or a stylish addition, we love seeing your creativity shine!

But before you get started, don’t forget to submit an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) application. This step ensures all changes align with our community’s guidelines and keep our neighborhood looking fabulous. Plus, it helps avoid any hiccups down the road.

Planning a project? Make sure to visit www.lakepointehoa.org for the ACC guidelines and application form.

Run for a Board seat

As we gear up for the 2025 Annual Meeting this September, we’re looking for passionate, community-minded residents to run for open positions on the Lake Pointe Board. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact and help shape the future of our neighborhood.

Interested in getting involved? Submit your application by Monday, Aug. 25 to be considered. Board elections will take place during the Annual Meeting in September.
