Wanted: resident photographer

We’re looking for a resident photographer with a knack for capturing the magic of Lake Pointe.

As we bring new life to the Clubhouse, we’re creating a space that feels like a visual love letter to our community. We want the photography to reflect the heart of Lake Pointe, seen through the eyes of someone who truly knows it.

Pool lost & found

Our pool’s lost and found box is bursting with mystery items: goggles, towels, maybe even that flip-flop you swore vanished into thin air. Come take a peek and see if anything belongs to you. Items not claimed by Monday, Sept. 1 at noon will be cleared out to make room for the next round of forgotten treasures.

Pool closure: Tuesday morning

Our pool will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 2 until noon while our pool maintenance team investigates a leak. To ensure safety and allow for a more thorough inspection, they’ll need full access during this time. Thanks for your patience as they work to keep the pool in great shape.

Camp Gladiator returns

If you missed the first workout in May, you’re in luck. Camp Gladiator is coming back to Lake Pointe for another free, high-energy session.

When: Saturday, Sept. 20

Time: 8 a.m.

Where: Community Center Parking Lot

Bring your mat, water, and your best hype squad. This is your chance to move, laugh, and connect with neighbors while breaking a sweat. Whether you're a workout warrior or just curious, this session is for you.

Labor Day office closure

The Community Life office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day, a perfect time to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the long weekend. Wishing you a restful and joyful holiday!

Did you know? Labor Day was born from a bold vision for work-life balance. The early labor advocates championed the “888” ideal: 8 hours for work, 8 hours for rest, and 8 hours for recreation.

This idea was revolutionary in its time, and it still resonates today. Striking a balance between productivity, rest, and joy is essential to living a healthy, sustainable life.

Looking ahead

The Community Life office will also be closed from Friday, Sept. 5 to Monday, Sept. 8. I’ll be back on Tuesday, Sept. 9, ready to assist you!
