Camp Gladiator returns

If you missed the first workout in May, you’re in luck. Camp Gladiator is coming back to Lake Pointe for another free, high-energy session.

When: Saturday, Sept. 20

Time: 8 a.m.

Where: Community Center Parking Lot

Bring your mat, water, and your best hype squad. This is your chance to move, laugh, and connect with neighbors. Whether you're a workout warrior or just curious, this session is for you.

Board candidates are in

A huge thank-you to all the neighbors who tossed their hats into the ring to serve on the Lake Pointe Board! With four seats open and four applications in, including three familiar faces running for a second term, it’s shaping up to be a smooth election.

Board appointments will be finalized at the Annual Meeting on Monday, Sept. 22. Click on the button below to meet your candidates.

The Community Life office is closed today Friday, Sept. 5, and will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Cub Scouts info night

Interested in learning more about Cub Scouts? Cub Scout Pack 72 welcomes interested families to stop by during this come-and-go event!

When: Thursday, Sept. 11

Time: 5:45 to 7 p.m.

Where: Lake Pointe Community Center

Drop in anytime during the event to:

• Meet Pack 72 volunteers & family
• Learn about Pack 72 activities
• Hear all about the Cub Scouts program

Pack 72 is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through 5th grade, with many members attending Lake Pointe Elementary and/or living in the Bee Cave area.

Join the Bridge Group

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, our friendly Bridge Group meets at the clubhouse every second Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a classic card game and sharpen your skills with fellow residents.

Their next meetup is on Thursday, Sept. 11, and new participants are always welcome.

Lake Pointe’s Mahjong Group is kicking off, and you’re invited to join! From tile tacticians to total newbies, everyone’s welcome at the table.
