Update from the Township
COMMERCIAL USE OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY
The Township of Lake of Bays is currently considering amendments to the User Fee By-law 2018-121, with relation to Vendor Licensing for Public Parks, at their next regularly scheduled Council meeting to be held on March 19, 2019 in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office. Interested parties are welcome to attend.

Please refer to the relevant documents in section 5(e) of the March 19, 2019 Agenda.

CANADIAN AGRICULTURAL PROGRAM (CAP)

CAP is a cost share funding program providing matching funding for producers, processors, and agri-food sector organizations and collaborations under the categories of Economic Development, Environmental Stewardship, and Protection and Assurance. For more information, visit the program website.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (EDP)

Company and Participant applications for the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP - formally known as YEPP) are open! There will be a competitive review process; there are 10 available spots in this program each cohort. This newly branded program will have two cohorts a year; one in May and one in September. Companies must be located within one of IIONs districts: Nipissing, Timiskaming, Parry Sound or Muskoka. Participants can be from anywhere but must complete their placement with a company in the district. For further details about this programs or to apply; please visit: www.iion.ca/edp

PAY IT FORWARD MUSKOKA

The District of Muskoka's Pay it Forward (PIF) Program is a Community Investment Grant Program supporting local grassroots initiatives aiming to build a stronger Muskoka. Grants of up to $2,500 are available to community groups who have a project or initiative that will:
  • Fill a strategic need in the community;
  • Enhance community support and leadership;
  • Create positive change;
  • Improve the quality of life of our vulnerable citizens.
