TOWNSHIP UPDATES

For updates regarding flooding, road closures, debris and other information related to the spring 2019 flood, please refer to the following resources:

WASTE DISPOSAL VOUCHERS

To assist Lake of Bays property owners with clean-up resulting from the 2019 flooding, the Township will be issuing one (1) Waste Disposal Voucher per property to provide no-charge disposal of flood damaged waste starting Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Please see the Township website for more information.

FLOOD RECOVERY LOAN PROGRAM

In order to assist businesses impacted by flooding, Muskoka Futures has launched a Flood Recovery Loan program. This assistance will provide up to $25,000 at 0% interest for 2 years for businesses impacted by flooding.

ARTrail MUSKOKA

The Purple Banner initiative is a self-guided year-round art experience to encourage visits to participating Muskoka studios and galleries. Whenever you see a purple banner, the artist's studio/gallery is open. As artists set their own hours, if a phone icon appears in the listing, please call ahead to confirm hours of operation before planning your visit.

VOLUNTEER MUSKOKA

Volunteer Muskoka is hosting a Social Media 101 workshop in Dwight on May 29, 2019.

When:  May 29, 2019, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Where:  Dwight Community Centre, 1014 Dwight Beach Rd, Dwight

Fee:  $5.00/person
