SOCIAL MEDIA SAFETY RECOMMENDATION:
Secure Your Facebook Business Pages
An increasing number of Facebook business pages are being taken over by hackers. The challenges to regaining control of your page once this has happened are significant. To avoid this stressful occurrence, be sure to implement the "two-factor identification" feature.

Below is a link to a short video by RTO12 marketing strategist, Peter Coish, on how to do so. The process takes no time at all, and if you don't do it, you risk damage to your reputation as hackers start communicating with your patrons, and the loss of any followers you have earned previously.
CHANGING WORKPLACES
COVID-19 has changed the way we work, perhaps forever. It doesn’t matter what industry or sector you operate in, customer and employee expectations have changed, technology has progressed, and workplace standards and protocols have evolved. Therefore, if you want to maximize productivity and performance in your people, you need to transform your leadership approach as well.

THE BUSINESS CASE FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Explorers' Edge hosts tourism sustainability expert Angela Nagy, President & CEO of GreenStep Sustainable Tourism, to share insights on how sustainability makes good business sense for tourism properties.

Additionally, RTO12 will partner with select businesses that participate in the session to work with the GreenStep team on their "Sustainable Lens Assessment" ($100 Cdn value, funded by the RTO). RTO12 will also partner with up to five tourism properties to help you achieve "Sustainability Certification" ($800-$1800/year Cdn value depending on property size). The properties that participate in the certification process will also act as case studies to help other tourism operators understand what's involved in and what the benefits are of implementing sustainability practices.
