Local community groups, sport organizations or individuals are invited to apply to the
Township of Lake of Bays' Youth Fund
for financial assistance to host events, activities or programs for youth under the age of 18 in the Township of Lake of Bays. Funding is subject to Council’s approval as part of the 2020 budget deliberations.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION GRANT
|
|
The Digital Transformation grant offered by Ontario BIA Association (OBIAA)provides $2,500 to each qualifying small main street Ontario business to purchase and adopt digital tools and technologies.
Deadline: December 31, 2019 (ongoing intake - while funds last)

DESTINATION ONTARIO (ONTARIO TRAVEL) IN LAKE OF BAYS
|
|
Lake of Bays has been selected as a photoshoot location by Destination Ontario (
Ontario Travel) to capture beautiful scenic landscapes, fall colours, and quaint small town charm.
Destination Ontario is a government agency created in 1999 to partner with Ontario tourism operators to showcase Ontario as a four-season must-see travel destination at home and internationally. The assets captured during this shoot may be used in future Ontario Travel content, including television, digital and print campaigns. The Township of Lake of Bays and local tourism organizations such as Muskoka Tourism and Explorers’ Edge will also be provided access to the assets from the photoshoot for use in communication.

PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE - ZONING BY-LAW REVIEW
What do you think your community should look like?
As required, under Section 26(9) of the Planning Act, the Township of Lake of Bays is reviewing and consolidating its two existing zoning by-laws (Development Permit By-law 2004-180 and Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2004-181) and creating a new
Community Planning Permit System (CPPS) to implement the policies of the Township’s Official Plan. This system will clearly identify development rules and requirements applicable throughout the entire Township.
