BUSINESS DIRECTORY
The new website features a comprehensive
business directory to help promote and support Lake of Bays businesses.This is a great opportunity to have your business promoted (at no cost!) on the municipal website. Check out the directory to see if your business is listed - if not, you can register to manage your own listing.
TOWNFOLIO COMMUNITY PROFILE
The new website includes a customized
community profile which provides a wide range of data (demographics, labour force, taxation, education, etc.) using visually engaging charts and graphics. The data is maintained by Townfolio on a subscription basis so it is always current. Accurate and up-to-date data is an effective tool to assist existing businesses with expansion plans and to attract new investment and permanent residents.

community event calendar. Searchable by keyword or category, this is your one-stop-shop for local events.
Funding Opportunities
TOWNSHIP OF LAKE OF BAYS YOUTH PROGRAMMING FUND
Funding available to support youth events, programs or activities.
DIGITAL MAIN STREET - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION GRANT PROGRAM
The Digital Transformation grant provides $2,500 to each qualifying small main street Ontario business to purchase and adopt digital tools and technologies. There are ONLY 2000 grants available until March 2020, so apply EARLY.
The
Women Entrepreneurship Fund is a two-year, $20-million commitment to invest directly in women-led businesses to help them grow and reach new markets. Funding is available for product and service development, inventory management, technology improvements and other projects supporting scale up, expansion and growth.
The
WES Ecosystem Fund is an investment of up to $85 million over five years that will provide not-for-profit organizations with the resources to support women entrepreneurs. These projects could support skills development to put more women entrepreneurs in sectors where they're under-represented or build capacity at incubator and accelerator programs.
Non-profit and volunteer organizations can receive a grant towards the cost of training for their volunteers. Click here for the

Social Enterprise Network of Central Ontario (senco) is an initiative of Georgian College’s Centre for Changemaking and Social Innovation (CCSI). Their goal is to be the bridge to new knowledge, resources and supporting business practices to achieve financial growth and sustainability through social enterprise.
