I hope the February Newsletter finds you warm and enjoying a great start to 2026! Here at the Hurst, we have been looking forward to 2026 for quite some time - our celebrations for the Centennial officially begin at Graduation 2026. We are excited to bring a year-long series of events and engagement opportunities to you!

In case you missed it, here are a few things for you:

• Save the Date for our Centennial Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 18-20, 2026. Early Bird registration will open May 1. If your class is celebrating a landmark anniversary and you'd like to serve on the planning committee, email me at lfrank@mercyhurst.edu to join us.

Teaching Excellence Award Nominations

Students, alumni, and faculty are encouraged to submit nominations for the annual Teaching Excellence Award. Since its establishment in 1990, this award has honored those who go above and beyond in contributing to the intellectual growth of Mercyhurst students. All nominations are due by Wednesday, April 1.
