Dedication Ceremony & Sneak Peek

Lakeside Chautauqua will dedicate the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus at 6 p.m. Friday, June 30 on the corner of Sixth Street and Vine Avenue. All are invited to attend. Preparations for the pool grand opening are underway, and a separate communication will be sent with details.

Immediately following the Dedication Ceremony, attendees will have an opportunity to tour the new facilities and see up close just what your gifts and support helped build for all to enjoy.

Individuals will see the pool filled, the water features operating and the water slide complete. Tours of the facility will also be given. Please note that the pool will not be open for swimming for this event, and the wellness center will open at a later date in the fall.

The Lakeside community made this dream of a community swimming pool and wellness center a reality. Children helped by selling lemonade and individuals, multigenerational families and local businesses supported the project. The Pool & Wellness Taskforce, Wellness Advisory Team, Lakeside Chautauqua Board of Directors, Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation Board of Directors and the Campaign Leadership Team spent countless hours volunteering their expertise and time. Special thanks to Janotta & Herner, Patterson Pools, Catawba Phone & Security Co., Corso's Flower & Garden Center and Bill's Irrigation for their dedication to this project.

Let's take a look at the progress throughout the last eight months.
