Featured Projects
So much volunteer activity is happening across the grounds, and each week we will highlight different volunteers and projects. Please share your photos with us so YOU can be featured; e mail communications@lakesideohio.com . We’re so thankful for your hard work and want to recognize your efforts.

Last week, volunteers of all ages continued to clean the playgrounds, pick up debris and rake the mulch. Thanks to these volunteers, Lakeside friends, families and guests can enjoy these cherished playgrounds.
Volunteers power washed the play structures at Cherry Park. Thank you for your time and labor to help make the playgrounds safe, fun and clean for the children of Lakeside!

Volunteer Corps members also assisted at the Farmers' Market, which opened last week at its new location near the Lakeside Schoolhouse. Volunteers greeted shoppers and encouraged guests to practice safe social distancing

“People love the Farmers' Market," said Debbie Jones, Lakeside Volunteer Corps member. "Getting back into such a beloved Lakeside tradition created a comforting and happy atmosphere that is certainly needed in this time of uncertainty.”

Thank you for making the first week of the Chautauqua season successful!
Upcoming Projects
Cherry Park & Central/Campground Park: Volunteers are currently working on power washing the playgrounds and re-staining the wood in Cherry Park and at the Central/Campground Park. These play structures should be ready for the community to use next week.

Memorial Garden at Chautauqua Park : Thanks to the gracious donation of the mulch by Barbara and Steve Browning, volunteers are helping to spread, rake and place the mulch at the Memorial Garden. We are grateful to those who are working hard to ensure that these grounds are beautiful for all to enjoy.
