Lago Vista ISD had an exceptional start to 2020, which achievements earned inside and outside of the classroom.
Here are some of the highlights!
The Lago Vista HS cheer squad worked hard to fine-tune
and deliver an awe-inspiring performance at the
2020 State Spirit Championship in Ft. Worth.
They earned 2nd place in State, 
which is quite an accomplishment!
Lago Vista ISD was proud to be recognized on the 10th annual
AP District Honor Roll, which recognizes school districts committed
to increasing access to AP for underrepresented students
while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage
of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.
For football, Lago Vista remains in 3A Division 1, District 13.
Schools within this district include Lago Vista,Blanco,
Comfort, Llano and Luling. 

For other sports (basketball, volleyball, etc), Lago Vista will compete
in 3A Division, District 25. Schools within this district include Lago Vista,
Austin IDEA Montopolis, Blanco, Comfort, Ingram Moore and Llano.
Congratulations to the Lago Vista Middle School students that
participated in the One Act Play competition!
Several Viking senior athletes recently signed letters of intent with
colleges and universities, and will be representing the
North Shore in their endeavors in the years ahead. 
They include:
Lindsay Rose Sheffer - plans to play softball at Pearl River
Community College in Poplarville, Miss.

Jack Hood – will continue his football career at
Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.

Mallory Webb – will play softball at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas.

Dillon McKee – will play baseball at St. Mary’s
University in San Antonio.
