Dishing Out Events Across Lanier For June 30-July 2, 2023

We’re dishing out upcoming events and specials across Lanier for the July 4th weekend, June 30 - July 2, 2023. Highlights include a Social Paddle at LLOP; a Full Moon party, fireworks, the water park, cruises and music at Margaritaville/Lanier Islands; the Splash Pad at Laurel Park; Kayak/SUP rentals at the Kayak Shack at Longwood Park; a Junior Ranger Camp at Don Carter State Park; live music at Fish Tales, Pig Tales, Pelican Pete’s, Skogies, Twisted Oar and Smokey Q; and area 4th of July Celebrations.

JULY 4 HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES

Independence Day celebrations from Lake Lanier’s mountain headwaters to its southern shores feature everything from sack races to parades, rock n’ roll to porch pickin’. And of course, there’s nothing like watching fireworks explode above the water. Here’s a sample of what’s happening July 1-4:

July 1

July Evening of Fun, Mountain City. Old fashioned relay games, Appalachian dancing, live music, 5-8
