Groovin High, Inc. is an eclectic record store tucked away on Belmont that is a record hunter's dream. Groovin High will be open from 7AM to 7PM on Saturday, April 23rd and the first 100 customers will receive goody bags and there are 100s of new releases for the day!

Due to a recent uptick in crime, we met with our 19th District police officers and officials to discuss increased safety measures for our neighborhood. As summer rolls around, we are happy to work with our officers towards a safer Lakeview East and Wrigleyville.

Sidewalk cafe season is upon us! Businesses, be sure to renew your sidewalk cafe permits ASAP! The city is experiencing an influx of businesses looking to expand their outdoor dining to enjoy beautiful Chicago summers, and turn around times have slowed. Be sure to submit your permit applications so you can have your patio just in time for the upcoming warm weather
City Rolls Out Private Sector Camera Initiative
The Private Sector Camera Initiative links Chicago based organizations, companies and sister agencies’ cameras systems into the Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) state-of-the-art unified video surveillance network.

These cameras provide Emergency Management officials and Homeland Security Directors additional points of contact throughout the City that can be accessed during an emergency.

Last Thursday, Opening Day brought droves of fans wearing cubby blue back to the neighborhood to enjoy the first game of the season at Wrigley Field. The neighborhood even got to sing Go Cubs Go as their opening day game ended in a W. Back for it's 6th year, Friday Night Flights is returning this summer with their kick off at Gallagher Way on May 27th! Each event showcases a different Chicago neighborhood and includes beer tastings from local breweries, a live DJ, and great food vendors. Don’t miss these one-of-a-kind events in one of the best brewing cities in the country! Chicago Friday Night Flights is produced by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild in partnership with Choose Chicago, so you're bound to find some unique brews at this fun summer time series featuring 30+ breweries.

Movement Gym in a bouldering gym that opened last year in Wrigleyville. They love their neighbors and are offering a free week of climbing and classes to send the love back to our community

Register for the BottlesUp! Run for Rosé 5K!
We don't always run...but when we do it's for rosé. Lock in and lace up for the Second Annual Run for Rosé 5K! This 3.1 miler is a fun run/walk along the lake (with an after party at our place) that we created as a way to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association and celebrate new vintage rosé releases.

+ Participants will have two different 5K routes to choose from, both ending at BottlesUp OR you can map your own 5K route!
+ Choose your own starting time between 9-10:30am and choose to run/walk solo or with some running/walking buddies. Don't forget to wear your Run for Rosé t-shirt!
+ Finish at BottlesUp before/by 11:30am. Be prepared to show your ID!
+ Pick up your goodie bag, drink some rosé, then head home and continue to #roséallday!

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy (Preschool - 8th) invites all families interested in learning more about our school to come for a visit at one of the spring open house events. Families are welcome to attend on any of the dates listed for a tour of the school and an opportunity to speak with current parents and staff. Registration is not required for this event.
