H E A D L I N E S
This year's 13th Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts was a huge success for all those involved. We want to thank all of the artists, volunteers, Arts Committee members, Board Members, musicians, vendors, and sponsors who helped to make this year's event our best yet. A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Treasure Island and our Co-Sponsors, LAZ Parking, Best Western Hawthorne Terrace, The Cubs, Winehouse and Patch Landscaping.

If you saw a piece of art that you liked but didn't get a chance to make a purchase during the festival, our 2017 Festival of the Arts website will remain up with a robust artist listing and sample work.  Click here to take a look.
ON-PREMISE SIGN ORDINANCE

Last month, we met with Commissioner Frydland to discuss the recent enforcement of the on-premise sign ordinance. A few businesses were ticketed for having more than 25% of their windows covered with decals or lettering in the past few weeks. The sign ordinance did not change, however they are enforcing the regulations. Please review the sign guide which was created after we met with Commissioner Frydland from the Department of Buildings.
