Kick off the Chicago Baseball Season with us at the  Wrigleyville Spring Social and connect with our local businesses and community members on Thursday, March 22nd from 6-8pm. 2018 Lakeview Soup Walk
The 2018 Lakeview Soup Walk was a success! We had over 300 attendees explore our local retailers in Lakeview and sample soups from nearby restaurants. We had over 30 local businesses participate in this neighborhood walk, filling the streets with visitors on a sunny Sunday Funday. The event was produced by the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce and the Northalsted Business Alliance. Check out our Facebook page for images from the Soup Walk.

On the first Sunday in May the Chicago Police hold the St. Jude Parade in memory of fallen officers who were serving in the line of duty. The 19th District Steering Committee provides a breakfast at the 19th District for all the staff after the parade on Sunday May 6, 2018. At this time we are asking for your support with a financial donation for this breakfast which is catered. Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated to help support this breakfast. Please mail any checks payable to the 19th District Steering Committee, P.O. Box 579177, Chicago, Illinois 60657. All donors will be acknowledged at the breakfast.

Red-Purple Bypass Project
As part of the first phase of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Program, CTA will construct a Red-Purple Bypass north of the Belmont Station to eliminate a bottleneck that prevents CTA from adding more trains.

DIVERSEY WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The Diversey Watermain replacement project is underway along Diversey from Clark to Sheffield, in accordance with Mayor Rahm Emmanuel's Building a New Chicago Infrastructure Investment Program. The construction is slated to be complete by mid-March 2018 with restoration following in mid-April of 2018. If you would like to receive regular email updates about the progress of the project, please go to buildinganewchicago.org to register for the WaterALERT program. Please submit Project #1801020. Throughout the construction process traffic flow will be compromised but you will always be able to reach your home or business. 

IF the Water Department shuts down the water and issues a WATER BOIL order, you will need to follow the plan of operation you submitted to the Health Department.  Please find the form here.

2018 Sidewalk Cafe Permits

Click the link below to download and start your 2018 Sidewalk Cafe Permits. The 2018 sidewalk café season, began on March 1st and ends on December 1st, so the earlier you apply the sooner you can use your outdoor cafe. Please contact the chamber if you need any assistance

Please note the recent changes to the  City of Chicago's Sign Ordinance.  This went into effect on January 2, 2018. These changes were made possible by the Small Business Advocacy Council and the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce with our sister organizations.
