The Lakeview Soup Walk is a neighborhood celebration of restaurant soups paired with retail locations. On this heart-healthy walking tour, participants discover the unique shopping experiences of Chicago's Lakeview district while they warm up sampling fresh and savory soups along the way.

This year's 15 locations stretch from Broadway to Northalsted to Clark Street. The soup walk is FREE, great exercise and a delicious journey of discovery!

On Tuesday, February 27th, the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce held their 2017 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony at The Cubby Bear. Over 150 business owners and members of the community attended to network with each other and learn about our 2017 successes, Lakeview developments, and future plans for 2018! The Sheffield Watermain replacement project is underway along Sheffield from Belmont to Roscoe, in accordance with Mayor Rahm Emmanuel's Building a New Chicago Infrastructure Investment Program. The construction is slated to be complete by mid-March 2018 with restoration following in mid-April of 2018. If you would like to receive regular email updates about the progress of the project, please go to buildinganewchicago.org to register for the WaterALERT program. Throughout the construction process traffic flow will be compromised but you will always be able to reach your home or business. No parking for the entirety of the construction zone will be in effect on weekdays from approximately 7am - 4pm. Chicago Sign Ordinance  

Please note the recent changes to the  City of Chicago's Sign Ordinance.  This went into effect on January 2, 2018. These changes were made possible by the Small Business Advocacy Council and the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce with our sister organizations.

Red-Purple Bypass Project
As part of the first phase of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Program, CTA will construct a Red-Purple Bypass north of the Belmont Station to eliminate a bottleneck that prevents CTA from adding more trains.

HVAC Pub is a pizza pub and live music venue located in the heart of Wrigleyville. The chef-driven pizza menu at HVAC pub features both red and white varieties, with original recipes such as the "Graceland" and the "House Slice".
