Patrol Officers Mark and Albert
|
We wanted to thank our HLSA Security Team for doing a great job at keeping our streets in SSA 8 and SSA 17 safe! The past few weeks they have done a lot of awesome work that we want to commend and make known to the community:
- An Uber driver that pulled a knife on his passenger near the Belmont and Clark intersection was detained by HLSA Officers
- Officers detained a man with a weapon on Broadway in the Jewel parking lot; he was taken into custody
- A bag of $1600 worth of stolen alcohol from the Walgreens at Broadway and Clark was found and returned
- 2 offenders committed a strong armed robbery at the ATM near Cubby Bear in SSA 17; the offenders were successfully identified and taken into custody. Cell phone was returned to the victim
Other "wins" include constant patrol of those
urinating and drinking on the public way, closing many opened garages to prevent stealing, assisting CPD with random fights/brawls, theft reports, and observation of graffiti on various neighborhood businesses.
