Lakewood Released Results of

2021 Bay Cup II Regatta

Seabrook, TX: Lakewood Yacht Club (LYC), in cooperation with Bay Access, hosted this year's Annual Bay Cup II Regatta Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Bay Cup II is the second race in the annual series hosted by LYC. Top finishers in each class were:

J/105

1st-Place - BonBon - Uzi Ozeri - LYC

2nd-Place - Stinger - J.B. Bednar - LYC

PHRF Non-Spin (Sprit)

1st-Place - Seute Deern - Hans Knickrehm - LYC

2nd-Place - Good News - Ash Walker - LYC

3rd Place - Zulu - Thomas Sellers - GBCA

Cruising Classic Canvas Spin

1st-Place - Bad Girl - Nicole Laster - GBCA

2nd-Place - Wings - Caroline Glasgow/Bahama Rigging /Alex Crowell - GBCA

3rd-Place - Firewater - Walter Horton - LYC

ORC TOT Spinnaker

1st-Place - Pingo - Pedro Gianotti - GBCA

2nd-Place - Hamburg II - Albrecht Goethe - LYC

3rd-Place - 77 - George & Lisa Cushing - GBCA

Boats that sail in the same class in both races and who are sailed by the same skipper are eligible for a series trophy.

Regatta proceeds benefit the Bay Access Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable organization fostering amateur racing and sailing on Galveston Bay.
