New Years Day in Cambria did not disappoint! I spent my day doing all of my favorite things...beach-combing with Beverly, casting on my Kelowna Sweater project, and eating leftover Christmas lasagne!

Lulu Slipover in Trinity Cashmere Aubergine and Lamb & Goat Plum

Stunning new colors of Lamb & Goat by Dream in Color have just arrived in the shop.

Rae observed how perfectly this gorgeous color palette coordinates with the color palette of the Trinity Cashmere yarn. So I felt inspired to finally knit my 1st PetiteKnit design and selected the Lulu Slipover.

And I am so pleased with the results! These yarns are held together and the resulting fabric is the softest I've ever created. I want to hug myself all day long when I'm wearing it!

Quick, Simple Super Bulky Sweaters

I wanted a quick simple project after spending over a month working on my Lulu Slipover...and the Kelowna Sweater by Tara-Lyn Morrison was just what I needed! It's knit top down using super bulky yarn. The collar, cuffs, and waistband are knit double-stranded so they're a bit thicker, while the body and poofy sleeves are light-weight and cozy.

I knit my 1st one using Phoenix by Lang and loved it so much, I cast on my second one 2 days later using Fairy Floss by Juniper Moon Farm.

Both of these yarns have ~300 yards per 100 grams so I only used 2 balls per sweater!

Sip & Stitch Tonight January 8th
