Let's step up your Social Media Marketing

Did you know the Chamber has a member to member Facebook page?   Are you a member of this group?  If not, JOIN TODAY!

Okay, you're now a member, what's next?
First a few words of advice ...Post quality, not quantity. Adjust your content to fit your audience. Ask a question, but be direct. Keep it short. Don't dominate. Give a clear call-to-action. Include valuable information. Remember, social media is about the online relationships that you form and maintain. And lastly, be positive.

Plan Ahead.
The best way to keep social media posts organized is on a calendar. This makes it easier to plan posts ahead of time.

Plan Cohesive Campaigns.
To drive your message home, you should build a complete campaign. Just as we advocate developing a yearly marketing plan, social media should play an important part; organized and well thought out. Oftentimes, businesses struggle to keep up with their social posting schedule because they're too reliant on one-off posts. This makes staying organized difficult. Plus, it's tough to always be writing posts on the fly without much thought ahead of time. So, plan campaigns, be it for the month, quarter or year.

Some Posting ideas:
  •  Illustrate your company's culture, vision.
  • Add Industry news_ be informative.
  • Promote Events at your business - create an event on Facebook
  • Give quick tips and advice
  • Add photo's_ tag people and ask to share.
  • Include testimonial
  • Share your interactions with a non-profit organization_ (cause             marketing)
  • Provide links to resources_ ebooks, white papers, or other                downloadable content.
  • Give away something free_ Who doesn't like free stuff? By offering your audience an incentive to take action to get a freebie, you can drive some strong engagement, and help promote your products or services.
  • Post Videos (short) Research shows that videos have a 135% greater organic reach compared to photos.
