2019 Goulish Gales

For one night a year, Lancaster High School becomes the spookiest place in Lancaster! Thanks to the hard work and planning of the student body, LHS welcomes hundreds of little trick-or-treaters to get candy and interact with the high schoolers. This year, patrons were also treated to free grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup thanks to FreeChee! #theplacetobe #granvillepike
LHS Grad Marcus Smith Off to a Great Start with Summit Construction

After a classroom visit with Summit Construction representatives, 2019 graduate Marcus Smith knew he wanted to be a part of the company that is currently building both new junior high schools in Lancaster. Luckily for Marcus, the Career Tech Carpentry class has prepared him well to hit the ground running with Summit. #theplacetobe #granvillepike #doingbigthings
LHS Senior Conversation: James Hewlett

Few students at LHS are as comfortable in front of a crowd (or a camera, for that matter) as James Hewlett. The senior is once again performing in the drama club fall production Farce of Habit, which opens on November 21 and runs through the weekend. #theplacetobe #granvillepike
Junior High Construction Update

At Thomas Ewing, final cleaning has begun in the single story classroom section of the building. The entryway canopy continues to be constructed while group restroom fixture installation, furniture set up, and audio/visual/technology wiring continues throughout the building. The gymnasium floor is being marked, the locker room floor s are being laid, and doors with hardware are being installed in the gymnasium section. Doors with hardware are also being installed in the cafeteria section while sink drains, plumbing fixtures, and kitchen equipment are being installed. The outside concrete courtyard has been poured, road widening continues, along with sidewalk caulking.  

At General Sherman, the parent drop off area has been paved and the large parking lot paving is underway. The cul-de-sac connecting to Fernwood Ave. has been graded and curbs poured. Sidewalk installation continues. The exterior brick installation is complete. the plumbers and electricians are preparing the mechanical room; permanent power is scheduled for next week. Main entrance section glass installation continues.
