Junior High Construction Update

At Thomas Ewing, water fountains, restroom fixtures, A/V wiring, communication wiring, and technology room racks are being installed throughout the building along with classroom floor waxing and touch up painting. In the main entrance section of the building, office carpeting, ceiling tile, and media room ceiling clouds are being installed. Painting is now complete in the single story section. In the gymnasium section, the wooden gymnasium floor and locker room ceramic tile are being installed. Kitchen ceramic tile is being installed and the dining area floor is being polished. On the site, concrete ramps are being poured, the rear parking lot is being paved and the football field is being graded.

At General Sherman, drywall is being installed in the two story classroom section of the building. In the single story classroom section, domestic water lines are being installed and electric branch lines are being pulled. Electric branch lines and one of the DOAS units are being installed in the gymnasium section. Outside of the cafeteria section, brick is being installed on the South wall and metal roof panels are being installed. On the site, sidewalk grading, and combination sidewalks/curbs are being poured.
